Laser welding | VOTAN® W
VOTAN ® W allows laser welding into diferent fields of application. The fields of application are in the machining metal parts for:
- 3D Pieces
- Pieces with inaccessible joints
- Pipes
- Valuable materials or hard solder
- Micro-engineering pieces
Operating Mode
In the component which absorbs the laser, W1, laser light energy is converted into heat energy.
Component W2, which is transparent to laser light, is heated directly by heat conduction of W1 and melted.
