JENOPTK | The German company celebrates its 20th birthday.

The German company JENOPTIK, IDASA’s technology partner, celebrates this year the 20th birthday, with a very promising future.

After 20 years of history, JENOPTIK is now one of the company leaders in the laser sector, with a huge number of solutions for any kind of necessity, in continuous improvement.

JENOPTIK group has published a very good operative result in the first quarter of 2011. Sales and orders have a positive behavior, generating a forecast for 2011 about 40.000.000€.

“High order intakes and major individual orders, more efficient structures, improved production processes and a continuation of the positive development of the economy are all having a positive impact. In particular our focus on Asian core regions, the expansion of the global distribution as well as the investments we made in the structure and expansion of the US business are supporting this,” said JENOPTIK Chairman Dr. Michael Mertin at the publication of the quarterly figures.

About 1,500 employees, partners and supporters of JENOPTIK from politics, economy and sciences celebrated the anniversary in Jena on July 1, 2011
