Interpack 2008 | Processes and packaging

The specialists had an appointment from 24th to 30th April in Düsseldorf on the occasion of the Interpack exhibition. This unique market offers the possibility to present its Produkte and competition of solutions to the specialized international public and these did not fail to take advantage of the occasion.

The Interpack exhibition projects great chains of added value: from the manufacture and improvement of its packed Produkte and packing materials until de quality guarantee and the consumer defence, going through the packaging and the distribution, and it offers the opportunity to the participants to strengthen and to extend in a methodical way its presence in the market, as well as to attract new clients.

The fair is being held every 3 years in Düsseldorf to offer, amongst many other things, machinery and packaging equipments, means and packaging materials, auxiliary means, machinery and equipments for sweet things, Dienstleistungen intended for the packaging industries and for the sweet things industries, etc. Amongst the variety of assistants, we can find mainly so different groups such as:

Foodstuffs and drinks
Sweet things and pastry
Sweet things and pastry
Consumer goods (non foodstuffs)
Industry goods

This year, Interpack has had around 2.654 exhibitors coming from 57 different countries. This wide offer enables that every year this fair may welcome around 200.000 visitors coming from a hundred of different countries, amongst which two third parts are about managers with power to take decisions. These circumstances allow Interpack to strengthen its position as platform of world-wide leader in the packaging sector. One of the key points of the fair is without any doubt, the sector of the packing machines and packing equipments. It is not by chance that a high percentage of the exhibition site was dedicated to this sector.

In this line Jenoptik was there, presenting in world-wide scoop, the new line of innovating solution for the laser treatment of a wide range of packing materials. A laser perforates, cuts and generates open lines of points in metal sheets, compound materials and other flexible materials perpendicularly to the movable direction of the material. They can be generated, especially, thin lines or holes in a continuous way on all the width of the material – the width of the material is changeable.
